When A New Mom Questioned The Existence of Kids’ Menus, The Internet Responded In The Most Hilarious Way

When you see other kids, you can’t stop adoring them and there would probably be nothing that would annoy you. But your life will take a turn and you will be hit by reality once you have kids. We are not saying that you won’t adore them but that admiration only takes spilling of food and “unexplained” outbursts to convert into annoyance.

A new mom shared her views on her kid’s future food preferences by saying that being a “pretentious foodie” herself, she is quite confident that her kid would not like the kids’ menu. WOAH! That’s how the parents who read her post reacted. They could not help but prepare her for what’s coming and how opposite it is to what she is thinking.

The comments started pouring in and yes, they were hilarious but true in every sense! The focus here was on food and by food we mean, the kids’ favorite mac n’ cheese. Yes, that’s a favorite and kids can eat that all day. All your efforts to feed them those “healthy” meals will just be useless and you will find yourself feeding them mac n’ cheese or pizza (depending on their mood!).

We want the new mothers to listen here – your kid will eat anything but what you wish them to eat! Edible or not, they would want to taste everything especially the things which are restrained by you.

Have you ever tasted mud? Don’t lie, you have! So, when your kids do the same, you better not make those weird faces and scream at them.

Another one, have you ever eaten anything from the floor? We all know the answer to that. Now, your kids will have so much fun when they pick a piece of chicken nugget from the floor and eat it. You should probably have some fun too!

When you have a kid, there are a few things you need to adjust with or wait, you have to adjust to everything. No sleep, messy house, tantrums (mostly related to eating) are some of the many things that you need to live with.

Other favorites of kids in food apart from mac n’ cheese, chicken nuggets, pizza, food on the floor, mud include lots of tomato ketchup, dog/cat food and REPEAT! This is something every parent on twitter was commenting on that mom’s post. We guess parents all over the world are on the same page when it comes to the kids’ menu.

Kids will like one thing on Monday and hate it on Tuesday. This is no exaggeration, parents agree here. Kids will bring out the chef in you by ordering all kinds of weird food like cauliflower in pizza’s crust and marshmallows on it (WOW!). You have to make it, there’s no other option. They will enjoy when others can’t even stand the thought of such recipes.

We hope the “pretentious foodie” new mom learned a few things here and is prepared for what’s coming. You better brace yourself too for the future.
